The invention relates to a socket for multipole connectors, especially for the electrical connection of motor vehicle trailers to a socket housing (1) and a contact support insert (2) for holding contacts which are to be connected to electrical conductors (3), which socket has a central contact holding section (4) to which rearward supporting parts (5) are connected for support on the mounting surface. In order to simplify a secure mounting, it is provided that the contact support insert (2) consists of a contact insert (6) forming the contact holding section (4) and of a separate supporting body (7) which can be connected thereto and has the supporting parts (5). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Steckdose für mehrpolige Steckvorrichtungen, insbesondere für den elektrischen Anschluß von Kraftfahrzeuganhängern mit einem Dosengehäuse (1) und einem Kontaktträgereinsatz (2) für die Aufnahme von mit elektrischen Leitern (3) zu verbindenden Kontakten, welche einen mittleren Kontaktaufnahmeabschnitt (4) aufweist, an welchen sich rückwärtige Stützteile (5) zur Abstützung auf der Montagefläche anschließen. Zur Vereinfachung einer sicheren Montage ist vorgesehen, daß der Kontaktträgereinsatz (2) aus einem den Kontaktaufnahmeabschnitt (4) bildenden Kontakteinsatz (6) und einem mit diesem verbindbaren, gesonderten, die Stützteile (5) aufweisenden Stützkörper (7) besteht. <IMAGE> <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
