[origin: EP0460422A1] There are described pivot bearings 24 and 25 which can be used especially for the wings of windows, doors or the like and which are installed concealed between the limiting surfaces directed transversely relative to the wing and frame plane, namely the so-called wing and frame rebate circumferential surfaces. They consist of a wing rail 28 or 58 and of a frame rail 26 or 56, between which is provided a pivot joint 33 or 63 directed transversely relative to their plane. This pivot joint 33 or 63 can be adjusted to a limited extent relative to the wing 5 in the direction of its plane by means of an adjusting member 51 or 81, for example a screw, engaging on the wing rail 28 or 58 on the one hand and on a joint part 31 or 61 on the other hand. The joint part is formed by a supporting arm 31 or 61 which is arranged longitudinally displaceably between the wing rail 28 or 58 and the frame rail 26 or 56 and which is connected to the wing rail 28 or 58 also so as to be displaceable to a limited extent transversely relative to its longitudinal direction via a further adjusting member 35 or 65. <IMAGE>
