[origin: EP0460653A2] The soundproof door is provided with a run-on or hump threshold (18) against which at least one profiled sealing strip (36; 38) lies in a sealing manner when the door is closed. The profiled sealing strip has a convex lower edge and is held by a profiled holding strip (40; 42) which is arranged at the underside of the door leaf (12). By virtue of the rounding of the lower edge of the profiled sealing strip (36, 38), the latter does not bend over upon closure of the door when running against the sloping surface (20) of the run-on threshold (13). The profiled sealing strip (36; 38) is also prevented from such a bending-over by the profiled holding strip, whose legs (40b; 42b) enclose a relatively large area of the profiled sealing strip (36; 38). <IMAGE>
