[origin: DE4000044A1] An electrically controlled fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, especially a pump nozzle, with a pump piston (12) arranged and guided in a pump housing (11) which limits a pump working chamber (15) and on the feed stroke, takes the fuel fed into this working chamber (15) by a feed pump to an injection nozzle as long as a quantity control valve (26) blocks the flow of the fuel otherwise flowing from the working chamber (15) via a metering line (25) to a low-pressure chamber (21), with a casing section (27) laterally surrounding and projecting beyond the pump housing (11) at the level of the piston (12) and housing the metering control valve (26) into which penetrates the metering line (25) leading to the working chamber (15), whereby the projecting part of the casing (27) has lateral recesses with which engages a securing socket (28) with an internal thread (30) for the metering control valve (26) co-operating with a sleeve (32) having an external thread (31).
