Abstract (en)

The invention relates to electrically driven acoustic shock-wave generator which has a coil arrangement (5) and a membrane (19), which can be driven electrically in an impact-like manner by means of the coil arrangement (5), as the electrically conductive elements (5, 19), by means of which membrane (19) shock waves can be introduced into an acoustic propagation medium which is adjacent to one side of the membrane (19). In this case, it is provided that at least one of the electrically conductive elements (5, 19) contains material which can be converted into the superconducting state, and that means (9 to 16, 23 to 28) are provided for conversion into the superconducting state of the material which is contained in the at least one electrically conductive element (5, 19). <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft einen elektrisch antreibbaren akustischen Stoßwellengenerator, welcher als elektrisch leitende Elemente (5, 19) eine Spulenanordnung (5) und eine mittels der Spulenanordnung (5) elektrisch stoßartig antreibbare Membran (19) aufweist, mittels derer Stoßwellen in ein an die eine Seite der Membran (19) angrenzendes akustisches Ausbreitungsmedium einleitbar sind. Dabei ist vorgesehen, daß wenigstens eines der elektrisch leitenden Elemente (5, 19) in den supraleitenden Zustand versetzbares Material enthält und daß Mittel (9 bis 16, 23 bis 28) zum Versetzen des in dem wenigstens einen elektrisch leitenden Element (5, 19) enthaltenden Materials in den supraleitenden Zustand vorgesehen sind. <IMAGE>
