An eccentric drive for a displacer (11) of a spiral-type supercharger with a driving device formed by a first eccentric arrangement and with a guiding device formed by a second eccentric arrangement is subject to particularly high loads in the region of the said guiding device due to manufacturing or installation tolerances and due to stresses arising in operation. In known solutions, these stresses were at least partially compensated by the use of an elastic bedding in the region of the guiding device. The invention is intended to further improve the stress reduction. 2.2. According to the invention the elastic bedding, in the form of a guiding element (20), is arranged in a receptacle (17) of elongate design in the direction of compensation. The guiding element (20) and hence also a bearing arrangement provided in the latter for the second eccentric arrangement can thus yield easily in this direction. The occurrence of stresses is avoided in an effective manner. 2.3. Eccentric drive for a spiral-type supercharger for supercharging an internal combustion engine. <IMAGE>
