Abstract (en)
The cutting element (16) is shaped by powder metallurgy and contains particles of abrasive product. According to the invention, the particles of abrasive product comprise thermostable grains of polycrystalline cubic boron nitride. The cutting element (16) can be mounted on a sawing (18) or drilling tool and is used more particularly for the machining of a material containing metallic reinforcing elements in a hard matrix. <IMAGE>
