Autonomous electrical hair-dryer consisting of a base (1) connected to the electric mains and of an actual portable hair-dryer (3) which can be fitted into the said base (1), characterised in that the actual hair-dryer (3) comprises: - a heat reserve (9), the heating of which takes place outside the periods of use when the hair-dryer (3) is positioned on its base (1), - an electrical energy storage battery (accumulator) (17), recharged from the base (1) when the hair-dryer (3) is positioned on its base (1) by means of an electrical circuit integrated into the said hair-dryer, this energy being used during operation only for discharge of the thermal energy stored in the heat reserve (9) outside the said hair-dryer. <IMAGE>

Sèche-cheveux électrique autonome constitué d'un socle (1) raccordé au secteur d'alimentation électrique et d'un sèche-cheveux portable proprement dit (3), encastrable dans ledit socle (1), caractérisé en ce que le sèche-cheveux proprement dit (3) comprend : une réserve thermique (9) dont le chauffage est réalisé en dehors des périodes d'utilisation lorsque le sèche-cheveux (3) est positionné sur son socle (1), un accumulateur d'énergie électrique (17), rechargé à partir du socle (1), lorsque le sèche-cheveux (3) est positionné sur son socle (1), au moyen d'un circuit électrique intégré dans ledit sèche-cheveux, cette énergie n'étant utilisée en cours de fonctionnement que pour l'évacuation de l'énergie calorifique emmagasinée dans la réserve thermique (9) hors dudit sèche-cheveux.
