[origin: DE3906568A1] The knife (1) has blades (2) which rotate around a spindle (3). In order to increase the angular momentum of the knife (1), a mass segment is arranged at the ends (6) of the blades (2). To increase the stability of the blades (2), their ends (6) are connected to a ring (7), which is arranged concentrically with respect to the spindle (3) and to which additional mass segments (9) are fastened. A high rotational energy can be stored in the knife (1), even at a relatively low speed. The centrifugal force acting on the ring (7) and the additional mass segments (9) results in an additional stabilisation of the blades (2) of the knife (1). <IMAGE>
