The cassette serves for the storage of articles (1), in particular tools such as spiral and/or threaded drills, bit inserts and the like, and comprises a base section (2), a lid section (3) attached to it in a pivoting manner, and also at least one pivoting insert (4) carried in a pivoting manner in the base section (2) to take articles (1), which is connected with the lid section (3) via a respective hinged connection section (5) at the end, so that it is automatically carried along and set up by the lid section (3). A flat insert section (6) is also provided, which is arranged inside the base section (2) and is designed to take further articles (1). The insert section (6) is connected to the pivoting insert (4) via a hinged connection on the side facing said insert, whereby the hinge axis (7) of the insert section (6) is arranged eccentrically to the pivoting axis (8) of the pivoting insert (4) in such a way that it runs essentially vertically below the pivoting axis (8) and parallel to it when the pivoting insert (4) is pivoted into the base section (2). Die Kassette dient zur Aufbewahrung von Gegenständen (1), insbes. von Werkzeugen wie Spiral- und/oder Gewindebohrern, Bit-Einsätzen und dergl., und besteht aus einem Bodenteil (2), einem daran gelenkig angeschlossenen Deckelteil (3), ferner aus zumindest einem im Bodenteil (2) schwenkbar gelagerten Schwenkeinsatz (4) zur Aufnahme von Gegenständen (1), der zur selbsttätigen Mitnahme und Aufrichtung durch das Deckelteil (3) über ein endseitig jeweils gelenkig angeschlossenes Verbindungsteil (5) mit dem Deckelteil (3) verbunden ist. Weiter ist ein flaches Einsatzteil (6) vorgesehen, das innerhalb des Bodenteils (2) angeordnet und zur Aufnahme weiterer Gegenstände (1) eingerichtet ist. Das Einsatzteil (6) ist an seiner dem Schwenkeinsatz (4) zugewandten Seite gelenkig mit diesem verbunden, wobei die Gelenkachse (7) des Einsatzteils (6) exzentrisch zur Schwenkachse (8) des Schwenkeinsatzes (4) so angeordnet ist, daß sie bei in das Bodenteil (2) eingeschwenktem Schwenkeinsatz (4) im wesentlichen senkrecht unterhalb der Schwenkachse (8) und zu dieser parallel verläuft. Im Bodenteil (2) sind Gleitflächen (9) vorgesehen, die sich von der Bodenfläche (2.1) des Bodenteils (2) aus zur der Gelenkachse (10) des Deckelteils (3) gegenüberstehenden vorderen Seitenwand (11) des Bodenteils (2) ansteigend erstrecken. <IMAGE>
