Abstract (en)
A dental X-ray film developing machine is described. The machine has a cylindrical housing (21,31, 41), a motor (32) fixed on the housing, an arm (35) for being driven by the motor, and a film holder (50) for being brought into detachable engagement with the arm (35) whereby development processing of a film (F) mounted on the film holder (50) is conducted while the film holder (50) makes a full turn within the housing (21,31,41). Plural tanks (36), including a tank containing a developer and another tank containing a final processing solution such as water, are removably arranged along a peripheral wall of the housing (21,31, 41). A film-holder-inserting portion (240) is located before the developer-containing tank (21) relative to the turning direction of the arm (35) so that the film holder (50) with the film (F) mounted thereon can be positioned at a point where the film holder (50) can be brought into engagement with the arm (35) which is being driven. A device (45) for detaching the film holder from the arm is provided after the final-processing-solution-containing tank (36) relative to the turning direction of the arm (35). <IMAGE>
