[origin: EP0462851A2] The cutting apparatus for delivering successive portions in a continuous web (7), comprising an oscillating blade (1,20,45) whose cutting edge (3,48), driven in rotation about a fixed axis (2), crosses, while sliding, over a length at least equal to the width of the web (7) to be cut, the cutting edge (5,50) of a stationary blade (4,46) is such that the stationary blade (4) has the general shape of an L, its cutting edge being carried by the longest side (5) of the internal angle (A) of the L, the cutting edge (3) of the oscillating blade (1) extending as far as beyond the small side (6) of this internal angle (A). <IMAGE>
