[origin: EP0462925A1] The dispenser has a container with a sleeve (5), a lid (7), which is fitted onto said sleeve so as to be removable, and an axle (9), an adjusting member, which is rotatable about said axle, and a holder, which is arranged in the container and is displaceable by the adjusting member, for holding a stick-like product, for example a deodorant. Attached to the lid (7) is a seal (11) which seals off said lid relative to the sleeve (5) when the container is closed. The lid shell (7a) is engaged detachably below the seal (11) with the sleeve shell (5a) by engagement means (5d, 5e, 7d, 7e), formed by the two shells (5a, 7a). The lid shell (7a) engages at its lower edge with a neck-type holding portion (7g) in an annular holding groove (5g) of the sleeve shell (5a). This guarantees that the lid shell (7a) presses a sealing lip (11e) of the seal (11) onto the outer surface of the sleeve shell (5a) and that the sealing lip (11e) seals off the sleeve (5) and the lid (7) at least approximately gas tightly. <IMAGE>
