Numerically controlled working unit (3; 5) for machines for working the end regions of constructional elements for furniture and the like, having a head (25; 27) which carries at least two tools (31, 33; 37, 39) with parallel axes, of which the first (31; 37) is movable along two translation and working axes (X, Y), whereas the second (33; 39) is movable along three translation and working axes (X, Y, Z), the axis of rotation of the two tools (31, 33; 37, 39) running parallel to one (Z) of the three translation axes (X, Y, Z) and at least the other two axes (X, Y) being jointly assigned to the two tools and being numerically controlled; the head (25; 27) and the workpiece perform a relative movement about two mutually orthogonal pivot axes (A, B). <IMAGE>

Numerisch gesteuerte Bearbeitungseinheit (3; 5) für Maschinen zur Bearbeitung der Endbereiche von Konstruktionselementen von Möbeln und dgl. mit einem Kopf (25; 27), der wenigstens zwei Werkzeuge (31, 33; 37, 39) mit parallelen Achsen trägt, von denen das erste (31; 37) längs zweier Translations- und Arbeitsachsen (X, Y) bewegbar ist, während das zweite (33; 39) längs dreier Translations- und Arbeitsachsen (X, Y, Z) bewegbar ist, wobei die Drehachse der beiden Werkzeuge (31, 33; 37, 39) parallel zu einer (Z) der drei Translationsachsen (X, Y, Z) verläuft und zumindest die beiden anderen Achsen (X, Y) den beiden Werkzeugen gemeinsam zugeordnet und numerisch gesteuert sind; der Kopf (25; 27) und das Werkstück führen eine Relativbewegung um zwei zueinander ortogonale Schwenkachsen (A, B) aus. <IMAGE>
