[origin: WO9110796A1] A key (1) has a groove (1d) cut into the front face (1c) of the key shank in which a broach (4a) mounted on the driver (4) of the rotary lock cylinder engages when the key is inserted in the keyway (3c). The broach (4a) then moves a pin (5), which slides in the shaft of the key (1), radially outward and in so doing intercalates a core pin (3). The key also has ordinary counterbores in its shank in which other tumblers engage when the key (1) is inserted in the keyway (3c).

La clé (1) possède un passage (1d) ménagé dans la face frontale (1c) du corps de la clé, dans lequel s'engage une broche (4a) située sur le poussoir (4) du cylindre de fermeture lorsqu'on introduit la clé dans le passage (3c). La broche (4a) actionne un axe (5) lors de l'engagement, lequel se trouve en position mobile dans le corps de la clé (1), radialement vers l'extérieur et intercale ainsi un axe central (3). Le corps de la clé présente, de plus, les évidements noyés habituels dans lesquels s'engagent d'autres gâchettes lors de l'introduction de la clé (1) dans le passage (3c).
