Handle fitting for doors or windows, with a screw-on plate (1) and with a handle (2), the neck (3) of which has a cylindrical journal (5), by means of which the handle (2) is mounted rotatably, with a plastic bush (6) interposed, in a cylindrical recess (7) of the plate (1) and is held axially by means of a retention means supported on an abutment surface (8) formed by a widened recess (15), a square blind hole (4) being formed in the neck (3) of the handle (2) for the purpose of receiving a square peg (21). To prevent play between the square peg and the handle, on the end face of the journal (5) there is arranged concentrically relative to the pivot axis of the handle (2) a recess (19), into which is inserted a plastic play-compensating disc (20) surrounding the square peg (21) in a manner free of play. <IMAGE>

Griffgarnitur für Türen oder Fenster, mit einem aufschraubbaren Schild (1) und mit einem Handgriff (2), dessen Hals (3) einen zylindrischen Zapfen (5) aufweist, mit welchem der Handgriff (2) unter Zwischenfügen einer Kunststoffbuchse (6) in einer zylindrischen Ausnehmung (7) des Schildes (1) drehbar gelagert und durch eine Halterung, die sich auf eine von einer erweiterten Ausnehmung (15) gebildeten Widerlagerfläche (8) abstützt,axial gehalten ist, wobei im Hals (3) des Handgriffes (2) ein Vierkant-Sackloch (4) eingeformt ist zur Aufnahme eines Vierkantdornes (21). Zur Vermeidung eines Spiels zwischen dem Vierkantdorn und dem Handgriff ist an der Stirnseite des Zapfens (5) konzentrisch zur Schwenkachse des Handgriffs (2) eine Ausnehmung (19) angeordnet, in die eine den Vierkantdorn (21) spielfrei umschließende Spielausgleichsscheibe (20) aus Kunststoff eingesetzt ist. <IMAGE>
