The invention relates to a method for running along the façade of a building, in particular a building with a sloping and/or overhanging façade, with the cradle of a façade elevator. Such façade elevators, suspended on carrying ropes, are capable of moving along the building in the vertical direction. To prevent the cradle from swaying, a guide rope is attached, at the start of the running procedure of the cradle, to a fixed point of the building-façade and successive connection to and detachment from the guide rope is carried out during the travelling procedure. Corresponding devices are provided on the cradle for this purpose.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Befahren der Fassade eines Gebäudes, insbesondere eines Gebäudes mit schrägen und/oder überhängenden Fassadenflächen mit der Gondel (3) eines Fassadenaufzuges. Derartige an Tragseilen (2) hängende Fassadenaufzüge sind entlang des Gebäudes in vertikaler Richtung bewegbar. Um ein Abschwingen der Gondel (3) zu vermeiden, wird ein Führungsseil (7) zu Beginn des Befahrvorganges der Gondel an einem Fixpunkt der Gebäudefassade (5) angebracht und es erfolgt während des Fahrvorganges ein sukzessives Verbinden bzw. Lösen mit oder von dem Führungsseil (7). Hierzu sind entsprechende Einrichtungen an der Gondel vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
