[origin: WO9011195A1] The invention relates to a writing and drawing arrangement, referred to as a finger pen (2, 3, 4). We have clung to the traditional notion that pens or pencils must be rod-shaped in spite of the fact that this subjects the fine-motor function of the user to unnecessarily stringent demands. A study of the development of the fine-motor function of children proves that a semi-supine grip on rod-shaped pens or pencils can normally not be achieved out before the age of 6-7 years. The invention solves this problem by means of a finger pen (2, 3, 4), prone holding (1) of which is already possible at an age of 2-3 years, which generally makes possible its use in a manner which as regards the fine-motor function is simplified. Pen nib (5) projects from or in the vicinity of sensible centre of feeling (7) of writing/drawing finger (6) and is so angled that the point at which it contacts the writing/drawing surface will be seen by the user. Various alternatives of finger pen (2, 3, 4) are possible, e.g. of open type (2), closed type (3) or contoured shape (4). The invention applies mainly to writing/drawing while holding the pen in a prone position (1).

La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour l'écriture et le dessin, appelé stylo digital (2, 3, 4). Malgré les exigences inutilement rigoureuses qu'elle impose à l'utilisateur, nous avons respecté la tradition voulant que les crayons et stylos soient tubulaires. D'après une étude de l'évolution de la fonction motrice fine chez l'enfant, on sait qu'il ne peut normalement arriver à tenir stylo ou crayon avec la main en position semi-couchée avant l'âge de 6 ou 7 ans. Cette invention résout ce problème grâce à un stylo digital (2, 3, 4) qu'il est possible de tenir avec la paume vers le bas dès l'âge de 2 ou 3 ans, ce qui le rend en général facilement utilisable au regard de la fonction motrice fine. La pointe (5) du stylo est en saillie par rapport au centre sensible du toucher (7) du doigt qui écrit ou dessine (6) et se trouve placée à un angle tel que son point de contact avec la surface sur laquelle on écrit ou dessine reste visible par l'utilisateur. Différents modèles de stylo digital (2, 3, 4) sont possibles, par exemple de type ouvert (2), fermé (3), ou à forme profilée (4). Cette invention s'applique essentiellement à l'acte d'écrire/ de dessiner lorsque le stylo est tenu avec la main en position couchée.
