[origin: WO9011627A1] Radio antennae are known for vehicles for mounting against a glass pane and include an antenna rod fastened to an electrically conductive base which is mounted against the outside of the glass pane, a connection device (8) coacting with the base and mounted on the inside of the glass pane directly opposite the base. The connection device (8) is connected to an antenna cable taking the form of a coaxial cable from the vehicle radio, and the connection device comprises a box (8) of at least partially electrically conductive material with an open side facing towards the base, the box being mounted against the glass pane with the aid of a non-conductive disc (9) covering the open side. For improving signal transfer from the antenna to the antenna cable the conductor of the latter extends insulated through the connections means box (8) and has a connection (11, 13) to an opposing plane (12) at the inside of the glass pane, this opposing plane lying in the covering disc (9) directly opposite the base of the antenna.
