Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9106377A1] A spray head for a spray device can be actuated by depressing an actuating cap (70) against a preloaded spring (30). The spray device comprises a container filled with a sprayable, preferably liquid, preparation which can be atomized and sprayed out in a particular direction by means of compressed air. The spray head has a spray nozzle (58) into which the compressed air is fed separately. The preparation is fed into the spray nozzle through a lifting tube (50) which dips into the container. The compressed air and the preparation are mixed, atomized and sprayed in a particular direction in the spray nozzle. The spray head (10) has two separate valves (22; 24) which are elastically preloaded in the closed position. The first valve (22) is arranged in an inlet channel leading to the interior of the container from the compressed air channel which conveys the compressed air to the spray nozzle (58). The second valve (24) is arranged in the preparation channel which conveys the preparation from the container through the lifting tube (50) to the spray nozzle (58). The actuating cap (70) has two actuating rams (72; 74), each associated with one of the valves, and which open the valve when the actuating element is depressed. The dimensions of the actuating rams (72; 74) are such that, when the actuating element (70) is depressed, the actuating ram (72) associated with the first valve (22) engages on the respective valve closure body (26; 28) before the actuating ram (74) associated with the second valve (24).
