Abstract (en)

The safety switching panel is inserted into the ground in front of machines which are not to be touched in operation. It is connected in a circuit. When stepped on, it switches the machine off and/or triggers an alarm. The panel is intended to retain its functional capability even when penetrated by oil and in the case of other disturbances. For this purpose, it contains, between a bottom and a cover panel, a hose with a conductive layer on its bottom and a further conductive layer underneath its top. These layers are connected in the circuit. When the panel is stepped on, the hose is compressed, the conductive layers touch one another and close the circuit. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Die Sicherheits-Schaltplatte wird vor Maschinen, die im Betrieb nicht berührt werden sollen, in den Boden eingelassen. Sie liegt in einem Stromkreis. Bei Betreten schaltet sie die Maschine ab und/oder löst einen Alarm aus. Die Platte soll auch bei Eindringen von Öl und bei anderen Störungen ihre Funktionsfähigkeit beibehalten. Hierzu enthalt sie zwischen einer Boden- und einer Deckelplatte einen Schlauch mit einer leitenden Schicht auf dessen Boden und einer weiteren leitenden Schicht unter dessen Oberseite. Diese Schichten liegen in dem Stromkreis. Bei Betreten der Platte wird der Schlauch zusammengedrückt, die leitenden Schichten berühren sich und schließen den Stromkreis. <IMAGE>
