A plug connector, comprising a plug core (4) with a plurality of contact elements (30) which can be coupled on the input side to contact elements of a mating connector and are connected on the output side to electrical conductor wires (34). On the output side, a guide part (32) is arranged after the plug core (4), which guide part (32) has a number of guide channels (44), which are straight or deflected at right angles to the conductor wire axis, the number of which corresponds at least to the number of conductor wires (34), the input openings (33) of the guide channels facing the plug core (4) having a first arrangement pattern corresponding to the arrangement of the contact elements (30) or to the conductor wires (34) connected thereto, and the output openings of said guide channels (44) having a second arrangement pattern, different from the first arrangement pattern. During assembly of the plug connector, the conductor wires (34) are automatically fanned out and positioned in the desired arrangement pattern. <IMAGE>

Steckverbinder, umfassend einen Steckerkern (4) mit mehreren Kontaktelementen (30), die eingangsseitig mit Kontaktelementen eines Gegensteckers kuppelbar sind und die ausgangsseitig mit elektrischen Leiterdrähten (34) verbunden sind. Dem Steckerkern (4) ist ausgangsseitig ein Führungsteil (32) nachgeordnet, welches eine zumindest der Anzahl der Leiterdrähte (34) entsprechende Anzahl von geraden oder quer zur Leiterdrahtachse ausgelenkten Führungskanälen (44) aufweist, wobei die dem Steckerkern (4) zugewandten Eingangsöffnungen (33) der Führungskanäle ein der Anordnung der Kontaktelemente (30) bzw. der damit verbundenen Leiterdrähte (34) entsprechendes erstes Anordnungsmuster und die Ausgangsöffnungen dieser Führungskanäle (44) ein vom ersten Anordnungsmuster unterschiedliches zweites Anordnungsmuster haben. Bei der Montage des Steckverbinders werden die Leiterdrähte (34) automatisch aufgefächert und in das gewünschte Anordnungsmuster gebracht. <IMAGE>
