Abstract (en)
The method described makes it possible to adapt the fibre cleaning process in a fibre cleaning machine in which fibre tufts move in a stream around a rotating cleaning roller, which cleans and opens out the tufts, to fibres of differing provenance and to the increasing degree of opening of the tufts as the process continues; to render the stream of fibres being cleaned largely controlled and controllable by decoupling it from the dynamics of the transport streams, which supply material to and remove it from the cleaning process; and to compensate fluctuations in this stream of fibres being cleaned and in the material being supplied for cleaning by controlling the intensity of cleaning as largely as possible, so that the tufts of fibre emerging from the cleaning process are of constant quality in having been optimally cleaned and opened. The invention also relates to an apparatus for carrying out the method described. <IMAGE>

Das beschriebene Verfahren macht es möglich, die Faserreinigung in einer Faserreinigungsmaschine, in der ein Reinigungsstrom Faserflocken um eine sich drehende Reinigungswalze bewegt, wobei die Faserflocken gereinigt und aufgelöst werden, an Fasern verschiedener Provenienz und an den während der Reinigung fortschreitenden Auflösungsgrad der Faserflocken anzupassen, den Reinigungsstrom durch Entkoppelung vom dynamischen Verhalten der Transportströme, die Material zum Reinigungsprozess und von ihm weg führen, weitgehend kontrolliert und kontrollierbar zu machen und Schwankungen in diesem Reinigungsstrom und im in die Reinigung geführten Material durch Steuerung der Reinigungsintensität möglichst zu kompensieren, sodass die aus dem Reinigungsprozess austretenden Faserflocken konstant und optimal gereinigt und aufgelöst sind. Die Erfindung betrifft auch eine zur Durchführung des beschriebenen Verfahrens geeignete Faserreinigungsvorrichtung. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
