The invention relates to a hinge system for two panels, of the type comprising a flexible hinge (4) and panel edge sections (1, 2; 3) shaped so as to retain said flexible hinge. According to the invention, the flexible hinge (4) is composed of a central bulge (13) arranged in the vicinity of the mid-plane of the panels and of two wings (14, 15) designed to snap into the edge sections; the latter have receptacles (L1, L2) allowing this snapping and guide surfaces (Sx, Sc; Sax, Sac, AL) arranged on either side of the mid-plane of the panels, for the purpose of guiding their pivoting about an axis of rotation passing through the central bulge of the flexible hinge. The invention can be used particularly for the production of sectional doors. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un système d'articulation de deux panneaux de type comprenant une charnière flexible (4) et des profilés (1, 2 ; 3) de bordure de panneaux conformés pour maintenir ladite charnière flexible. Selon l'invention, la charnière flexible (4) est composée d'un boudin central (13), agencé au voisinage du plan médian des panneaux, et de deux ailes (14, 15) adaptées pour s'encliqueter dans les profilés de bordure ; ces derniers comprennent des logements (L1, L2) permettant cet encliquetage et des surfaces de guidage (Sx, Sc ; Sax, Sac, AL) agencées de part et d'autre du plan médian des panneaux, en vue de guider leur pivotement autour d'un axe de rotation passant par le boudin central de la chernière flexible. L'invention peut en particulier s'appliquer pour réaliser des portes sectionnelles. <IMAGE>
