The swimming-pool cover (1) consists of a textile-reinforced plastic film (2) with cross-struts (3) and tubes (5, 6) inserted, at the ends of its broadsides, in welts (4) present there. The edge 7 of the swimming pool is indicated by broken lines. The cross-struts (3) are arranged underneath the swimming-pool cover (1) so that they carry the swimming-pool cover (1). The cover (1) is slightly wider than the length of the cross-struts (3) so that the regions (8) along the longitudinal edges (9) are able to lie snugly on the edge (10) of the swimming pool. The edge regions (8) along the longitudinal edges (9) can be tensioned by means of tensioning straps (13), each of which comprises a tensioning buckle (17) by means of which the tensioning straps (13) can be tensioned using leverage. <IMAGE>

Die Schwimmbadabdeckung (1) besteht aus einer textilverstärkten Kunststoff-Folie (2) mit Querstreben (3) sowie an den Enden ihrer Breitseiten in dort vorhandene Kedersäume (4) eingesteckten Rohren (5,6). Mit gestrichelten Linien ist der Schwimmbeckenrand 7 angedeutet. Die Querstreben (3) sind unterhalb der Schwimmbadabdeckung (1) angeordnet, sodass sie die Schwimmbadabdeckung (1) tragen. Die Abdeckung (1) ist wenig breiter als die Länge der Querstreben (3), sodass die Bereiche (8) längs der Längsränder (9) satt auf dem Rand (10) des Schwimmbeckens aufliegen können. Die Randbereiche (8) längs der Längsränder (9) sind mittels Spanngurten (13) spannbar, die je eine Spann-Schnalle (17) einschliessen, mittels der die Spanngurten (13) mit Hebelkraft spannbar sind. <IMAGE>
