[origin: WO9012383A1] The present invention relates to an arrangement for the identification of objects such as patients, competitors and visitors to trade fairs, animals and baggage. The identification arrangement comprises a strip-like tape (1) made form a tear-resistant material and means (2) for attaching one end (1a) of the tape to an arbitrary point on the tape (1) so as to produce a closed strip loop. The tape has at least one field (1b) for information identifying the object, and the closed loop (2) is intended to be applied around a projecting part of the object associated with the information in question. The aforementioned means (2) for producing the strip loop consists of a piece of double-sided adhesive tape applied at the aforementioned one end (1a) of the tape. This is covered prior to use by a removable protective film. The invention is characterized in that the adhesive tape is of a kind such that, when the joint forming the closed loop is parted at that point, the adhesive tape separates in a laminar fashion so that rejoining is not possible.

Dispositif permettant l'identification de personnes et d'objets, par exemple de patients, participants à des courses et visiteurs fréquantant des expositions, ainsi que d'animaux et de bagages. Ledit dispositif comporte une bande (1) en une matière résistant au déchirement, et des moyens (2) pour attacher une de ses extrémités (1a) à un point arbitraire de la bande (1) de manière à créer une boucle fermée. La bande est dotée d'au moins un champ (1b) stocker des informations permettant d'identifier l'objet, la bande fermée (2) étant conçue pour être fixée sur une partie en saillie de l'objet, auquel se rapportent les informations. Le moyen décrit permettant de réaliser la boucle (2) est un ruban adhésif à double face, appliqué à l'extremité (1a) de la bande. Cette partie est recouverte avant utilisation par une pellicule detachable de protection. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le ruban adhésif est tel que, lorsque le raccord de la boucle fermée est séparé à cet endroit, ledit ruban se separe de manière laminaire de sorte que sa reconstitution n'est plus possible.
