2.1. Known rescue cages hinged vertically or semi-vertically on the ladder park of the fire engine or the like and having a mounting ladder can only be entered indirectly via the vehicle or the ladder park when the ladder park is horizontal. If entry ladders are provided directly on the rescue cage, the ladder park must first of all be erected before entry, and, in both cases, this involves complicated and, in particular, time-consuming operation of the apparatus. 2.2. In the case of a vertically or semi-vertically hinged rescue cage (1), an at least two part entry ladder (20) is, according to the invention, hinged on the front side (4) of the cage in the region of the bottom (5) of the cage. The mounting ladder can be swung down while the turntable ladder (2) of the fire engine (3) or the like is horizontal and extended close to the ground to allow a fireman to climb into the cage. The swing-down movement is expediently performed by a hydraulic drive (10) which is integrated into the bottom (5) of the cage and can be operated both from the cage and from the ground. <IMAGE>

2.1. Bekannte stehend oder halbstehend am Leiterpark des Brandschutzfahrzeuges oder dergl. angelenkte Rettungskörbe mit Aufstiegsleiter können bei horizontalem Leiterpark nur indirekt über das Fahrzeug bzw. den Leiterpark bestiegen werden. Sind Aufstiegsleitern direkt am Rettungskorb vorgesehen, so muß der Leiterpark vor einem Besteigen erst aufgerichtet werden, was in beiden Fällen eine umständliche und insbesondere zeitaufwendige Bedienung des Gerätes bedeutet. 2.2. Erfindungsgemäß ist bei einem stehenden oder halbstehend angelenkten Rettungskorb (1) an der Korbvorderseite (4) im Bereich des Korbbodens (5) eine zumindest zweiteilige Aufstiegsleiter (20) angelenkt, welche bei horizontaler Drehleiter (2) des Brandschutzfahrzeugs (3) oder dergl. abgeschwenkt und bis in Bodennähe zwecks Besteigen des Korbes ausgezogen werd kann. Die Abschwenkbewegung erfolgt zweckmäßigerweise über einen im Korbboden (5) integrierten hydraulischen Antrieb (10), der sowohl vom Korb als auch vom Erdboden aus betätigt werden kann. <IMAGE>
