The franking machine has a detachable head (1) on a base (2) and comprises a slot (12) carrying the print drum (11) of the head (1), which is mounted rotatably in the head (1) and has its bore rendered accessible on one rear side of the head (1), and a spindle (22), which is mounted rotatably in the base (2) and coupled to internal means (23) of driving of the print counter-roller (21) of the base (2), and of which one, so-called front, end part receives the slot (12) on itself, for putting the head (1) in position on the base (2) and the driving of the slot (12) and thus of the drum (11) from the base (2). <IMAGE>

La machine à affranchir est à tête (1) amovible sur une base (2) et comporte un fourreau (12) portant le tambour d'impression (11) de la tête (1), qui est monté rotatif dans la tête (1) et a son alésage rendu accessible sur un côté arrière de la tête (1), et une broche (22), qui est montée rotative dans la base (2) et couplée à des moyens internes (23) d'entraînement du contre-rouleau d'impression (21) de la base (2), et dont une partie terminale dite avant reçoit le fourreau (12) sur elle, pour la mise en place de la tête (1) sur la base (2) et l'entraînement du fourreau (12) et donc du tambour (11) à partir de la base (2). <IMAGE>
