The centrifuge according to the invention is essentially characterised in that it comprises a frame (1), an assembly (2) able to rotate about a rotary shaft (3) driven and guided in the frame (1), at least two chambers (4) each mounted pivottably in the rotary assembly (2) on a spindle (7) parallel to the drive shaft (3) of said rotary assembly and means for rotating each chamber (4) in the rotary assembly (2) in order to move each chamber between a position for feeding and centrifuging and a position for discharging the densest products, in that each chamber (4) is provided with an open side (4A) facing towards the inside of said rotary assembly in the feeding and centrifuging position and away from said rotary assembly in the discharging position and in that the feeding system for the mixture to be separated is formed by the shaft (3), which is fitted with a tubular portion (3A) into the end of which the mixture is introduced and which is provided with at least two outlets (3B) each arranged so as to face the open side (4A) of at least one chamber (4). <IMAGE>

La présente invention a pour objet une centrifugeuse à fonctionnement continu. La centrifugeuse selon l'invention se caractérise essentiellement en ce qu'elle comporte un châssis (1), un ensemble rotatif (2) autour d'un arbre (3) entraîné en rotation et guidé dans le châssis (1), au moins deux caissons (4) montés chacun en articulation dans l'ensemble rotatif (2) sur un axe (7) parallèle à l'arbre (3) d'entrainement du dit ensemble rotatif et des moyens d'entrainement en rotation de chaque caisson (4) dans l'ensemble rotatif (2) pour entraîner chaque caisson entre une position d'alimentation et de centrifugation et une position d'évacuation des produits de plus forte densité, en ce que chaque caisson (4) est doté d'une face ouverte (4A) orientée vers l'intérieur du dit ensemble rotatif en position d'alimentation et de centrifugation et vers l'extérieur du dit ensemble rotatif en position d'évacuation et en ce que l'alimentation en mélange à séparer est constituée par l'arbre (3) doté d'une portion tubulaire (3A) en extrémité de laquelle est introduit le mélange et pourvue d'au moins deux sorties (3B) disposées chacune en regard de la face (4A) ouverte d'au moins un caisson (4). <IMAGE>
