Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0466605A1] The invention relates to a reflector (20) for a headlight or signal light comprising, on either side and extending beyond a central vertical plane (x0z): a first zone (201g, 201d) in which the reflected rays pass from a zero horizontal deflection to a first maximum horizontal deflection ( THETA GF, THETA DF), a second zone (202g, 202d) in which the reflected rays pass from the said first maximum horizontal deflection to a second maximum horizontal deflection ( THETA G, THETA D), by passing through a zero deflection, and a third zone (203g, 203d) in which the reflected rays pass from the said second maximum horizontal deflection to a zero deflection. Application of a wide and uniform beam without using the cover lens. The invention also relates to a signal light in which the reflector spreads out the beam in one direction and the cover lens performs the spreading out in the perpendicular direction. <IMAGE>
