Abstract (en)
In a process for producing an aluminium or aluminium-alloy strip with a roughened surface, especially for lithographic printing plates, the strip is produced in a conventional manner by hot and/or cold rolling, starting from a rolling slab. The last rolling pass is carried out using a roll machined to give the desired surface topography and roughness of the strip and with a small pass reduction.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Bandes aus Aluminium oder einer Aluminiumlegierung mit aufgerauhter Oberfläche, insbesondere für lithographische Druckplatten, wird das Band in an sich üblicher Weise ausgehend von einem Walzbarren durch Warm- und/oder kaltwalzen gefertigt. Der letzte Walzstich erfolgt mit einer entsprechend der gewünschten Oberflächentopographie und -rauhigkeit des Bandes bearbeiteten Walze mit geringer Stichabnahme.
