[origin: WO9112360A1] A releasable corner fixing for a weaving beam consists of a pin-shaped projection (2a) on the side support (1) which is secured to the rod (4) of the weaving beam which takes the form of a hollow section by a setscrew (5). The clamped projection (2a) has a flat body (7a) formed in one piece with the side support (1) which forms a frame within which flexible vibration dampers (9a) lying against the frame are supported against a metal disc component (8a) passing through the frame which is riveted to a sheet-metal casing (10a) surrounding the outside of the frame (7a) with some clearance. Into the top of the U-shaped sheet metal casing (10a) is riveted a strip (12) against which the setscrew (5) is pressed. The side support (1) is thus connected to the rod (4) only via the vibration dampers (9a), vibrations between them are damped and the breakage of material prevented especially in fast machine running modes.
