[origin: WO9011834A1] To increase the throughput in a shearing centrifuge (10) in which the shearing base (24) is displaced in the axial direction relative to a screening drum (14, 16) into an advanced and a retracted position by a cyclic forward movement and backward movement, respectively, the mixture which leaves the advanced position of the shearing base (24) is fed to the screen (14, 16) until the next forward movement is about to start. The throughput is further increased by supplying a small quantity of the mixture to the screen (14, 16) both before the shearing base (24) reaches its advanced position and after the shearing base (24) leaves its advanced position.

Pour augmenter le débit dans un centrifugeur à cisaillement (10) dans lequel la base de cisaillement (24) est déplacée, dans le sens axial par rapport au tambour de tamisage (14, 16), dans une position avancée et rétractée par un mouvement cyclique vers l'avant et un mouvement cyclique vers l'arrière, respectivement, le mélange qui quitte la position avancée de la base de cisaillement (24) est acheminé au tambour de tamisage jusqu'à ce que le mouvement vers l'avant suivant soit sur le point de commencer. On augmente encore davantage le débit en amenant une faible quantité du mélange au tambour tamiseur (14, 16) à la fois avant que la base de cisaillement (24) n'atteigne sa position avancée et après que ladite base quitte sa position avancée.
