To suppress interfering sound, it is proposed in a hearing aid which is to be worn behind the ear (1) and has shell-shaped housing that, moulded into a first housing shell (2) is a separating wall (15) which forms a peripheral closed side wall of a housing chamber (16) for accommodating an electro-acoustic transducer (13), that the first housing shell forms the bottom (18) of the housing chamber (16), that the housing chamber can be closed by a cover (17) which can be placed onto the free upper end edge of the separating wall and that a second housing shell (3), which can be placed onto the first housing shell for closing the housing, covers the cover (17) of the housing chamber (16) with a slight spacing. <IMAGE>

Zur Störschallunterdrückung wird bei einem HdO-Gerät (1) mit schalenförmigem Gehäuse vorgeschlagen, daß in eine erste Gehäuseschale (2) eine Trennwand (15) eingeformt ist, die eine umlaufende, geschlossene Seitenwand einer Gehäusekammer (16) zur Aufnahme eines elektroakustischen Wandlers (13) bildet, daß die erste Gehäuseschale den Boden (18) der Gehäusekammer (16) bildet, daß die Gehäusekammer durch einen auf die freie obere Stirnkante der Trennwand aufsetzbaren Deckel (17) verschließbar ist und daß eine zum Verschließen des Gehäuses auf die erste Gehäuseschale aufsetzbare zweite Gehäuseschale (3) den Deckel (17) der Gehäusekammer (16) mit geringem Abstand überdeckt. <IMAGE>
