Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0467009A1] Wheel guide for the bogies of railway vehicles, in particular for local passenger transport with primary springs between the wheel bearings and longitudinal beams of the bogie frame, and secondary springs between the longitudinal beams of the bogie frame and the vehicle superstructure, in which the wheels are swivellably connected to a cross beam of a bogie frame by guide frames via an axis of rotation lying horizontally and transversely with respect to the driving direction, at least two wheels of the bogie frame being designed as loose wheels and being rigidly connected to the guide frame with pillow blocks, the guide frame being coupled to two guide bearings and connected to the cross beam, the guide beam being mounted rigidly in the guide bearings in the direction of driving, laterally elastically displaceably between stops and elastically with respect to swivel forces in the case of a lateral stop, the guide bearings consisting of metal pins held between bearing blocks of the guide frame and in bearing eyes of the bogie frame, the metal pins being surrounded by an elastomer layer and enclosed in metal sheaths. <IMAGE>
