[origin: JPH04227423A] PURPOSE: To provide a radiant heating element realizing a uniform heating coverage in definite arrangement. CONSTITUTION: Heating resistors 18 are arranged on an insulating support 16 while projecting from joints 20 arranged regularly on the outer circumference of a heating area 21 and connected, thereat, with semicircular ring circuits 22, 23. The resistors 18 run from the outside to the inside in nested double spirals 30, 31, reverse there in return bends 32 and then run parallel back again to the outside. This gives a very uniform, almost completely symmetrical arrangement, so that the glowing state is rapidly reached and a uniform glow pattern is obtained.
