[origin: EP0467122A1] The hinge-pin sleeve (200) is a double eccentric sleeve with an outer sleeve (3), the bore (9) of which is eccentric to its outer circumference, and an inner sleeve (11), the bore (12) of which is again eccentric to its outer circumference. Rotating the inner sleeve (11) in relation to the outer sleeve (3) makes it possible to adjust the position of the hinge pin in the transverse direction. The load of the leaf is transmitted from an upper hinge part to the lower hinge part, in which the hinge-pin sleeve (200) is arranged, by means of a flanged ring (22). The inner sleeve (11) is freely rotatable relative to the flanged ring (22), so that it can be adjusted, without the flanged ring (22), which is under considerable friction, having to rotate with it. <IMAGE>
