[origin: EP0467733A1] The hair removal apparatus is intended to be held in the hand and it comprises a series of parallel discs (2) fixed to a hub (3) which is turned by an electric motor, tweezer plates (22) arranged between the discs, means (25) for bringing said plates into contact with the edge (2a) of the discs (2) and separating them therefrom alternately as the discs rotate. It furthermore comprises means (20) for brushing the hairs to be removed, these means being turned at the same time as the discs (2). To be used to improve the efficiency of hair removal. <IMAGE>
