Abstract (en)
Process for the manufacture of agglomerates by compressing and heating a mixture of fines, powders or granules based on carbon-containing materials, especially on fuels or based on ores, a binder and optionally other additives, characterised in that the binder is a system comprising at least one treacle and at least one catalyst agent for the treacle, chosen from organic or inorganic ammonium salts. The process is applied advantageously to the manufacture of fuel agglomerates in the form of briquettes, nuts, and the like.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la fabrication d'agglomérés par compression et chauffage d'un mélange de fines, poudres, granules, à base de matériaux carbonés, notamment de combustibles ou à base de minerais, d'un liant, éventuellement d'autres additifs, caractérisé en ce que le liant est un système comprenant au moins une mélasse et au moins un agent catalyseur de la mélasse, choisi parmi les sels organiques ou inorganiques d'ammonium. Le procédé est appliqué avantageusement à la fabrication d'agglomérés combustibles en formes de briquettes, boulets, etc...
