Device for controlling the automatic loading of a cannon, especially of a cannon equipping the turret of an armoured vehicle, comprising a rotary magazine (5) intended for storing ammunition, said magazine being arranged in the vicinity of the chamber of the cannon and being associated with a device (9) for delivering the ammunition stored in the magazine towards the chamber of the cannon, characterised in that it comprises, furthermore, electronic means (13) for managing the ammunition stored in the magazine (5), comprising means (12) for recognising the type of ammunition in each location of the rotary magazine, means (17,18,13) for selecting the type of ammunition to be used, means (8) for controlling the displacement of the rotary magazine (5) for the purpose of conveying the ammunition of the selected type towards the delivery device (9), and means (8) for controlling the transfer of said ammunition towards the chamber of the cannon by the delivery device. <IMAGE>

Dispositif de commande de chargement automatique d'un canon, notamment d'un canon équipant une tourelle de véhicule blindé, comprenant un magasin tournant (5) destiné à stocker des munitions, ledit magasin étant disposé à proximité de la chambre du canon et étant associé à un dispositif (9) de refoulement des munitions stockées dans le magasin vers la chambre du canon, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte en outre des moyens électroniques (13) de gestion des munitions stockées dans le magasin (5) comprenant des moyens (12) de reconnaissance du type de munition se trouvant dans chaque emplacement du magasin tournant, des moyens (17,18,13) de sélection de la nature de la munition à utiliser, des moyens (8) de commande du déplacement du magasin tournant (5) en vue de l'acheminement vers le dispositif de refoulement (9) de la munition du type sélectionné et des moyens (8) de commande du transfert de ladite munition par le dispositif de refoulement vers la chambre du canon. <IMAGE>
