Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0467830A1] The twin-dispensing cartridge for two-component pastes has two supply cylinders (2, 3), having different diameters and in each case an outlet opening (4, 5), and a transition piece (7) which is mounted upstream of the supply cylinders and has a joint outlet for the components for connection to a mixer pipe (20) and dispensing channels (8, 9) adjoining the outlet openings. In order to avoid proportionally too little paste flowing out of the cylinder with a smaller cross-section when the closure is removed and at the beginning of the dispensing operation, the ratio of the volumes of the dispensing channels (8, 9) is selected such that it corresponds to the ratio of the volumes of the assigned supply cylinders (2, 3). In a preferred exemplary embodiment, the adaptation of the volume to the outlet opening (6) of the supply cylinder with the smaller volume (3) is brought about by an insert (21) in the corresponding dispensing channel (9). Both openings can be closed by a common closure. <IMAGE>
