Guiding means for use in a continuous casting plant <??>2.1 In the case of known guiding means, the setting of different strand thicknesses is associated with disadvantages such as complicated manipulation and susceptibility to faults of the device which permits this setting. <??>2.2 The frame parts (7 and 9) are supported one above the other by supporting (26) and countersupporting devices (27), which are equipped with supporting faces in different vertical positions and with countersupporting faces. Provided in series to the supporting and countersupporting devices there is in addition in each case one rotatable bush (43) with a helical supporting surface (45) on which is supported an abutment (44) associated with one of the frame parts (9). <IMAGE>

1. Strangführung an einer Stranggießanlage 2.1 Bei bekannten Strangführungen ist eine Einstellung unterschiedlicher Strangdicken mit Nachteilen verbunden, die in einer umständlichen Manipulation und einer Störanfälligkeit der diese Einstellung zulassenden Einrichtung zu sehen sind. 2.2 Die Gerüstteile (7 u. 9) ruhen mit Stütz- (26) und Gegenstützeinrichtungen (27), die mit in unterschiedlichen Höhenlagen befindlichen Stützflächen und mit Gegenstützflächen ausgestattet sind, übereinander. Zusätzlich zu den Stütz- und Gegenstützeinrichtungen sind zu ihnen in Serie jeweils eine verdrehbare Büchse (43) mit einer schraubenförmigen Stützfläche (45) vorgesehen, an der ein einem der Gerüstteile (9) zugeordnetes Widerlager (44) abgestützt ist. 3.
