Particularly suitable means for the low-stress expansion of tubes are probes which can be introduced into the tube and the expansion sleeve (2) of which, consisting of a highly elastic material, is expanded radially. According to the invention, the expansion sleeve (2) can be supplied with a pressure medium over at least part of its internal surface. The apparatus according to the invention makes possible low-stress and uniform expansion of tubes. <IMAGE>

Zum spannungsarmen Aufweiten von Rohren sind insbesondere in das Rohr einführbare Sonden geeignet, bei denen eine aus einem elastisch hoch verformbaren Material bestehende Aufweithülse (2) radial aufgeweitet wird. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Aufweithülse (2) wenigstens an einem Teilbereich ihrer Innenfläche mit einem Druckmedium beaufschlagbar. Mit der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung wird ein spannungsarmes und gleichmäßiges Aufweiten von Rohren ermöglicht. <IMAGE>
