Abstract (en)
Plate-like semifinished products having a thickness of 2 to 20 mm are produced from metal powder. The metal powders used are powders of tantalum, niobium or of a base alloy of these metals. Powders having a particle size of less than 100 [266F]m are cold-pressed, the compact is sintered by means of heat radiation in vacuo and the sintered compact is then cold-pressed to a predetermined dimension. The plate-like semifinished product is used for the production of cup-shaped bodies by reverse extrusion in a single step.

Es werden plättchenförmige Halbzeuge mit einer Dicke von 2 bis 20 mm aus Metallpulver hergestellt. Als Metallpulver werden solche aus Tantal, Niob oder aus einer Basislegierung dieser Metalle verwendet. Pulver mit einer Teilchengröße unter 100 µm werden kaltgepreßt, der Preßling mittels Wärmestrahlung unter Vakuum gesintert und danach der gesinterte Preßling auf ein vorgegebenes Maß kaltgepreßt. Verwendet wird das plättchenförmige Halbzeug zur Herstellung von becherförmigen Körpern durch Rückwärtsfließpressen in einem einzigen Schritt.
