A sample container for sampling gases and/or liquids, especially from the confinement vessel of a nuclear power plant, has a cylindrical body. The open end of the cylindrical body (4) is sealed by a first closure (8) via which the container can be filled with a gas or liquid sample. Provided in the base (6) of the cylindrical body is a second closure (10) via which a gas sample can be removed from the sample container for examination. A filtering arrangement (16) is provided between the first closure (8) and the second closure (10) for removing the gas sample. Such a sample container is simple in construction and can easily be filled, and the sample medium can also easily be removed from the sample container for the purpose of examination. <IMAGE>

Ein Probenbehältnis für die Entnahme von Gasproben und/oder Flüssigproben, insbesondere aus dem Sicherheitsbehälter eines Kernkraftwerks, weist einen zylindrischen Körper auf. Das offene Ende des zylindrischen Körpers (4) ist von einem ersten Verschluß (8) verschlossen, über den das Behältnis mit einer Gasprobe oder Flüssigprobe befüllbar ist. Im Boden (6) des zylindrischen Körpers ist ein zweiter Verschluß (10) angeordnet, über den eine Gasprobe aus dem Probenbehältnis zur Untersuchung entnehmbar ist. Für die Gasprobennahme ist zwischen dem ersten Verschluß (8) und dem zweiten Verschluß (10) eine Filteranordnung (16) vorgesehen. Ein solches Probenbehältnis ist einfach im Aufbau, leicht befüllbar, und aus dem Probenbehältnis kann das Probenmedium zwecks Untersuchung ebenfalls leicht entnommen werden. <IMAGE>
