Abstract (en)
A cutting insert, particularly an indexable cutting insert for chain saws used in the quarrying of natural stone, has a support member (11) and at least one cutting member (12) attached to the support member (11), the cutting member (12) having at least one cutting surface (17) and comprising a superabrasive material being formed such that the cutting member has a width substantially less than its depth and being attached to the support member such that the width is the cutting surface. <IMAGE>
