[origin: EP0468514A1] The locking device for a window or the like, the wing (1) of which is mounted pivotably on a frame (3), comprises a locking fitting (9) arranged in an outer circumferential rebate surface (5) of the wing (1) and having at least one locking stud (17) displaceable in the circumferential direction of the circumferential rebate surface (5) between a closing position and an opening position, and a lock-plate part (21) arranged in an inner circumferential rebate surface of the frame (3) and having an engagement recess (23) open towards the interior of the frame (3) and circumferentially and intended for the locking stud (17). The locking stud (17) carries a permanent magnet (27). The lock-plate part (21) consists of non-magnetic material and has at least one magnetic-field sensor (29) which is arranged in a recess (33) of the lock-plate part (21) countersunk into the lock- plate part (21) from the same side as the frame (3) and separated from the engagement recess (23) by an integral intermediate wall. The magnetic-field sensor (29), preferably designed as a Hall sensor, is assigned, in the same recess (33), a selectively addressable control circuit for the selective call-up of warning information from a central monitor (43). <IMAGE>
