The device for articulating an arm-rest of an armchair made of plastic material to the back, permitting the automatic fitting by downward pushing of this arm-rest onto the rest of the armchair, comprises two pins (14) aligned in a substantially horizontal direction and projecting from the two sides of an integrally moulded bracket (13) protruding laterally on the outer edge corresponding to the back (2) made of plastic material, these pins being intended to penetrate, by means of elastic bending of downward wings (17, 18) of the arm-rest (3) made of plastic material, into holes (17, 19) of these wings in order to be held thereby and to pivot therein. <IMAGE>

Le dispositif pour l'articulation d'un accoudoir de fauteuil en matière plastique sur le dossier, permettant le montage automatique par poussée du haut vers le bas de cet accoudoir sur le reste du fauteuil, comporte deux tourillons alignés (14) dans une direction sensiblement horizontale et faisant saillie des deux côtés d'une console (13) venue de moulage en proéminence latérale sur le bord extérieur correspondant du dossier (2) en matière plastique, ces tourillons étant destinés à pénétrer, par fléchissement élastique d'ailes descendantes (17, 18) de l'accoudoir (3) en matière plastique, dans des trous (17, 19) de ces ailes pour en être prisonniers et y pivoter. <IMAGE>
