The present invention relates to an inflatable and deflatable buffer (1) formed by a block of elastically deformable material comprising an internal slit (2) whose walls in the initial state meet to form a solid section of said block and an inflating channel (3) comprising a first end (3a) level with said internal slit and a second end (3b) connected to a pressurised fluid source. The present invention also relates to a thrustor for extending a threaded connecting component, comprising means which exert a piston action on said piston component and are formed by an inflatable and deflatable buffer according to the invention. <IMAGE>

La présente invention a pour objet un coussin (1) gonflable et dégonflable formé par un bloc de matériau déformable élastiquement comprenant une fente interne (2) dont les parois sont jointives à l'état initial pour former une section pleine dudit bloc et un canal (3) de gonflage comportant une première extrémité (3a) disposée en regard de ladite fente interne et une seconde extrémité (3b) reliée à une source de fluide sous pression. La présente invention a également pour objet un vérin d'extension d'un élément de liaison filetée comportant des moyens exerçant une action de piston sur ledit élément de piston formés par un coussin gonflable et dégonflable selon l'invention. <IMAGE>
