[origin: EP0468893A1] The invention relates to the production of a component comprising a wall (2) made from plastic and connected to a plastic layer (6) covering a reinforcing member (4). In the invention, the wall of the component and the layer covering the reinforcing member by at least one plastic bridge (8) which is shaped, before the material shrinks, in order to provide thereby a length reserve forming a predetermined margin of deformation which is usable during the shrinking, and, as the plastic shrinks, the bridge (or bridges) is allowed to deform so that it (they) follows (follow) the shrinkage of this material, it being possible for these bridges to have the shape of hinges having grooves, to be inclined in the plane of the wall (2) or to have a sinuous shape.
